Crossroads Between Lost Worlds

My Poetry

Melted chocolate twirls down the stairs
a trail of deadly sweet innocence
circle the heights
with stone against your face
a ghost of longing removed from hell and grace
The cherry blossoms in your eyes again
captivation awaits and
swirling depths cannot be escaped
I’ll sink from within this kryptonite
a dull surface blinded by unfostered fire
Tied up and held taut in style
a barrier to the threshold,
splintered whole
oriented from neither within or without
embracing crossroads between lost worlds.
